  • change out narrowly-defined topics each semester
     
  • require a variety of types of sources, including information from class discussions, assigned readings, or interviews with experts

  • checkpoints/due dates for showcasing progress, e.g., thesis, outline, annotated bibliography, rough drafts, posted sources
