List of all post-secondary affiliated extension programs in the United States. Extension provides non-formal education and learning activities to people throughout the country — to farmers and other residents of rural communities as well as to people living in urban areas. It emphasizes taking knowledge gained through research and education and bringing it directly to the people to create positive changes.

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) provides outreach services to all customers. Outreach activities also include innovative marketing initiatives to promote participation to the following underserved segments: Veterans, New and Beginning Farmers, Women Farmers and Ranchers, Minority Farmers and Ranchers (African-Americans, American Indians, Alaskan Natives, Asian/Pacific Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics) and Specialty Crop Producers.

The resources in this outreach toolkit are intended to support on-the-ground efforts to expand the use of key soil health practices, to reach new audiences of farmers, ranchers, and landowners, and build communication skills of conservation professionals.

The National Council for Agricultural Education (The Council) serves School-based agricultural education. Since its beginning in December 1983, The Council has provided leadership for stakeholders in agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems education.
The Council identifies important opportunities and needed resources for agricultural education and drives action to support the development and direction focusing on academic and career success for all students.

The American Farm Bureau Foundation seeks to increase agricultural literacy among educators, students, and the general public through their mission to build awareness, understanding, and a positive public perception of agriculture through education. They do so by developing and distributing educational resources, curriculum materials, and programs that promote a better understanding of agriculture's importance and its role in daily life. Through partnerships and initiatives, the Foundation works to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers, fostering a greater appreciation for the food, fiber and fuel produced by American farmer and ranchers.

NAITC oversees this free database full of relevant, standards-based lesson plans that use agriculture as a context for science, social studies, and nutrition education content for K-12 classrooms.
