I want to find books on my topic

Enter a keyword or keywords that describe your topic.
On the library homepage Quick Search, select the Books & Media tab. It is usually best to keep your search simple.

Examples: bilingual education; gothic architecture; greek utopias; cochlear implants.

Review the search results page for relevant items. The results page includes basic information on an item like title, publication date, format, and where the item is located.

The purple e-book icon means the book is accessible online, through our e-book collection.eBook Result List Entry

The blue book icon means the book is in our physical collection, and can be found in the library.

When you find a relevant print book, click on the Title to see the full record.

Write down the call numbers of the books you would like to check out. Also, take note of the item location as this can determine which floor of the library the book is held on. If you need help locating a book, use this guide, ask a librarian, or find help at the Library Services Desk.
