Northwest Missouri State University NPHC
The National Pan-Hellenic Council at Northwest serves as a standard-setting body for the affiliate organizations present on campus. NPHC strives to foster and maintain a cooperative environment among member affiliate members, as well as the general campus and community. NPHC serves as a forum for the consideration of issues important to its member organizations. The Council acts as a coordinator of activities and matters of common interest among member fraternities and sororities.
Association of Black Employees
The mission of the Association of Black Employees is to empower black employees in a rural higher education institution such as Northwest Missouri State University to be successful in and outside the university, and to provide support and encouragement for our marginalized students.
Equity and Title IX

to share a concern or experience about inequality.
Safe Ride Home
The Safe Ride Home program is a safe and timely transportation service within the city limits of Maryville, MO, offered by students, for students at Northwest Missouri State University. Safe Ride Home provides a shuttle system so students can travel to various retail stores in Maryville throughout the week. Northwest also offers a taxi service for late night transportation when students are in situations they feel are unsafe.
Ally Affinity Group
The Northwest Ally Affinity Group allows participants the opportunity to identify ways in which we can appropriately use our privilege to bring about social change. We attend Diversity and Inclusion events and collaborate with other Affinity groups in a supporting role as requested/desired. Contact: email@example.com
National Black Student Alliance
The National Black Student Alliance (NBSA) serves to provide Black students and allies a community, brave space, and the opportunity to create change. Also follow on Instagram
National Black Graduate and Professional Students Organization
The National Black Graduate Student Association (NBGSA) is the nation’s largest interdisciplinary graduate organization for students of African descent. The association addresses the needs and concerns of black graduate and professional students, and encourages black undergraduates to pursue advanced degrees. NBGSA provides critical resources for ensuring the academic success of African American students and aids in developing a powerful network of emerging black scholars who can continue to diversify the academy and enrich the larger community.
