Ask a Librarian

• Librarians are available to assist you through chat, email, phone, and in-person!

• Items are listed numerically using Arabic numbers in the order they are cited in the text.
• Authors: use initials of first and second names with no spaces or punctuation. Ex: Brady BL.
• Include up to six authors. If there are more than six then list only the first three, followed by et. al.
• If no author start with the title.
• Websites include the name of the webpage, the name of the entire website, the full date of the page (if available), and the date you viewed it. Provide the URL that works as close as possible with th date of publication.
• If the article has a DOI then use that in place of the URL.
• If the citation extends to the next line do NOT indent.
• Use PubMed abbreviations for multi-word journal titles.
