Capital City Pride brings together members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community, their friends, family, and supporters. We do this by producing events that inspire, educate, connect, and celebrate our diverse community and culture with and for the greater Des Moines Metro.

The Flint Hills Human Rights Project is a volunteer organization dedicated to serving the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and all sexuality and gender minorities, plus their friends and allies, in Manhattan, Kansas and the Flint Hills region of Kansas.

MainStream is committed to improving the quality of discourse about and among challenged identities, focusing on critical thinking and solutions over grievance. Our target audience includes LGBTQ+ people; Black, Indigenous and People of Color; women; people of alternative faiths; substance users; people with disabilities; and other identities that experience consistent marginalization from mainstream society.

Modern Family Alliance (MFA) is dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ parents, their children, and those on the path to parenthood. Through events, resources, and education, we foster a vibrant and inclusive community in the Kansas City metro area where all families are respected, encouraged, and celebrated.

Omaha ForUs builds intentional community and creates equitable space in service to LGBTQ+ individuals & families of eastern Nebraska, western Iowa.

Out for Health provides outreach, education, support, connection to services, and advocacy about the importance of LGBTQ+ inclusivity in care and education.

The confidential PFLAG Kansas City Helpline is available for persons who need information and support. Call (816) 765-9818* and leave your name, phone number, and the best times to call; a PFLAG Kansas City support volunteer will call you back. The volunteer will not reveal the purpose of the call to anyone else who answers the phone.
